Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is more commonly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), the American musician, rapper and songwriter. The stage name is the name of a beloved uncle with the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records in 2012, along with an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April of 2013. Scott also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh (1983) was released on self-release. In 2013 Scott released the mixtape on his own Owl Phaoh. Another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash single "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) hit number one on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was made in collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his first Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. In late 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within one year.
