Annie
Wersching, born March 28 1977 was an American actress best well-known for her
character in 24 as well as the voice work that she did for Tess in NaughtyDog's
game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She graduated from
Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year
1995. She competed in Irish dance during her youth and was a member of the St.
Louis Celtic Dancers. She holds completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching started
her acting career with guest appearances on the television show Star Trek:
Enterprise, and moved on to guest starring roles in shows such as Charmed
Killer Instinct Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March 2007 to November
2007, she had playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap drama
General Hospital. She has also performed in theaters , including Victory
Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching
played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of
24.After her two-season stint in 24 Wersching appeared on a variety of guest
shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof,
Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which
stars the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was a regular series
character on the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played catcher for
the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity
Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that in the PlayStation 3
exclusive The Last of Us, Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the
character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter prior to
her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer which premiered on the
7th of December on the 7th of December. Wersching will be playing the Borg
queen in the Star Trek: Picard's second season , which begins in September
2021.
